I bought the 4.2" adjustable sight model and love it. Long cylinder and does well with long bullets.

I have both the older 3" and the newer 4" guns and they are , even though I don't have woods where I live, exactly that. They respond very well to spring kits which results in dandy double action shooters. They have become my go to packing gun of choice when wandering and plinking are the order of the day.

Great little pistols. I like them so much I bought two, one for me and one for the wife. Ditto on the spring kits.

I think they'd make a great trail/small game gun. Congratulations could we get a range report?

I do enjoy the newer 4" SP 101 as probably the best incarnation of a 327 packing gun yet,,,, but. For me the 3" guns feel fine but by the time the snout grows to 4" it needs a longer , square butt grip. It would just point and look better. I have tried the Hogue grip, long enough but too round for me . If the factory grip would grow 1/2" to 1" it could fix some stuff . Any one found any good suggestions for SP101 grips.

I bought some from Taiwan off EBay. Extend down and squares off to eliminate the problem that you're talking about.
Some of the best aftermarket grips I've found.

I've looked at his grips before and wondered about the quality of them. If it's the same seller you used, I think I'll give some a try. Thanks bud BigBore44

The description for that spring kit says: Due to changes in the gun by the manufacturer, this spring will only fit rimfire SP101s manufactured prior to 2011. Will they fit the .327? My gun has a terrible trigger and badly needs new springs. Dean

Ahhh never mind. I think what they are saying is the kit won't fit rimfire guns built after 2011.
