Wouldn't be a big job to have it refinished in another color of Ceracoat.

That's a gun that needs to be blasted and hard chromed, for sure. If it ended up being all carbon steel parts maybe it'd be worth blasting then polishing and bluing, but that's a lot of work and $$$!

Makes a nice "Military" piece.... Gosh. I'm just not that "moto" anymore. Maybe when I was a young Lance Corporal/Criminal with $2500 burning a hole in my pocket... Yeah, that definitely never would've happened.

I may call John tomorrow and ask him about the gun and removing the finish as a possibility. If I get ahold of him I will let you guys know what he says.

Talked to John and he is not sure about having the coatings removed. Said reason for it was when the build happened, they had what was obviously a blued Max frame but only a SS 500 barrel so thus the coating.
