you guys in the know... can someone put a bug in their ear, to build a 32 caliber, be it 32 H&R or 327 that feeds the 32 H&R... CAS shooters have been looking for the 32 rifles, & any of the available 32 H&R's have gone up a lot, since no one has made one in several years... I had every intention of buying a 44 Magnum Henry, as my last long gun, but a fancy wood Winchester got in the way... still have space reserved for a 32 lever gun, in one of my racks... would really like it, if it was a Henry 32

First off if any company will build one, Henry is the company. They seem to be the ONLY company exploring what American shooters need. True research and development stuff and fresh ideas. Secondly, a request here is insufficient. It will require nagging, constant nagging to Mr. Imperato"s personal email. www.henryrifles.com/contact-henry-repeating/contact-anthony-imperato/Stress how .32 addiction is very common out there and Everyone who has it would want a 32 carbine. Then get a few friends to email him also.

Read where Henry is starting to build a rotating bolt lever gun similar to the Browning BLR.

Well, local forum guy wasn't able to find any from his wholesalers, but I just "pulled the trigger" on the carbine with a semi-local shop for a fair price. Will pick it up Sat after next & can't wait to see how she shoots & handles.

I have looked at these off and on since they came out. Just a personal thing, but I just can't warm up to the "drop tube" magazine. I disliked them on a .22 and have no different feeling about it in a center fire. Nor am I a big "alloy" fan unless it is of the pb type. I handled one a few weeks ago and the for the lack of a better word "heft" just doesn't feel right to me.
Had a guy call me out of the blue a few years ago. He knew I had a couple of lever guns. He had bought a .22 for his kid and it had jammed. He brings it over in a box! After a bit of looking at such an odd to me creature and trying to figure out how to get the thing apart, yes it was jammed, I decided it was apart as far as I would ever take it. I found finally got the cartridge out. The design of the thing will only let a certain length cartridge go through and cycle through the action. The kid had put some 22 mags in it. I did not put it back together nor did I offer, as I had not taken it apart. The concept reminded me of the kit cars using a VW. What it looked like at a distance and what it was under that shell of a cover where two different things for sure. I was not impressed. Are the center fires any different? Jeff

Everything I've read about the Big Boy line was positive & the few I've looked at were pretty dang nice. Supposed to be a lot like a Marlin in function, with the exception of the tube feed. I've got a slew of tube fed Marlins, so I'm okay with it. It will definitely get a set of Skinner's peep sights.
As fire as the rimfires go, the one I fondled cycled like butter. Never shot one though & not sure you can hold the gun responsible for someone stuffing the wrong ammo in it.
From everything I've read, Henry really stands behind their product & seem to be very easy to deal with.
Regardless, I'm just excited to finally get my mitts on a .41 lever gun. If this carbine works as expected, I will likely also pick up a 20" .357 to partner up with my 6.5" .357 Blackhawk.

Just picked up this beauty today. My pic doesn't do it justice. Very nice looking, nicely fitted gun. Shoulders easy as pie & super handy. Action cycles as smoothly as my Marlins & the trigger's actually feels pretty decent as well. Looking forward to making up a big batch of .41 & take these 3 out for an extended range session.

Got 'er out to the range for a brief session today. Ran 18 rds of my 215s (that ran 1070fps from the Hunter) through it & 25rds of some warmer re-man 210gr Gold Dot over 2400 from the LGS. Recoil was negligible & even though my eyes don't much like buckhorns, very accurate offhand at 25yds.
An Army bud came up for the weekend & the short-notice range trip caught me with exactly 18rds of .41 on hand, so had to scramble a bit to find some ammo, but the LGS owner is an avid reloader & caster & usually has at least a little of the more oddball chamberings on the shelf. I'm looking forward doing some load development for both the Hunter & the carbine. Just need to find some time to sit down at the press & get busy.
Really nice fit & finish & nice trigger. SMOOTH, ran like a champ. There is definitely a .41 rifle & a .357 carbine in my future.
