Am looking for info as to how much in .001's of an inch is added to the bullet when powdercoated. In 475 bore ? In 44 bore ? Just in from boiling the lube off some Penn .475 335gr bullets. Some leading and keyholing going on and want to try powdercoating anyways. First patients on the table..hehehe ! Will raid Harbor Freight this week.

Usually .001-.002", I've never seen a powder coated bullet gain more than .002" after shaking it a bit before baking, unless you are coating twice, which I've never done.
