Simple answer is no. I am 101% more concerned with home grown bad guys than terrorists. I pack for the homers.

When I know I'm going to be inside my Car, I'll use a shoulder holster and have 2 to 4 loaded mags for my 1911 Commander. I also have a S & W model 38 inside a IWB. I like to have 2 speed loaders around. but it's just the S & W come warm weather, and you can bet my 1911 is not far away.

Not a single change. It would be like stepping up airline security after an event. The probability of being on a hijacked plane is so small, I would have a greater impact on my safety if I took on a risk mitigation project for crossing the street. Same with being in a mass shooting.
I don't look at gun deaths and see something that should be addressed when there are issues that kill 2x or more numbers of people. Gantt chart. you hit the big hitters first to make a real difference. Planning for being a mass shooting victim is not one of them. Not even the top 5.

At the risk of sounding unpopular, ditto goes for the climate change that is caused by carbon emissions. When manmade emissions are (at best) #3 worldwide with carbon emission, the most effective way to combat climate change that is caused by carbon emission is to tackle the #1 and #2 cause.
Of course, if that is not practical.....

I have gone from toting a hammerless J-frame in a pocket holster (and sometimes remembering the speedloader) to a Browning Hi-Power in a belt holster along with a spare mag. Truth be told, it isn't that much more to carry and makes me feel a bit more prepared. YMMV.
