Don't actively cast them but pretty much shoot cast exclusively in my 45 ACP and 38 Super. 200 SWCs in the 45 and 147 TCs in the Super. Magnus Bullet Campany is my source. www.magnusbullets.com/about_us.htm They are hard. Haven't put them under the hardness tester but they shoot good out of my paper punchers with no leading. Bullseye under the 200 and WST under the 147.

For my 45 cap bullets I use 50% wheel weights mixed with 50% pure lead. I'll mix in 1-2% tin if available. I'm using Felix lube which I make myself but there are good lubes out there you can buy. The cap bullets do not need to be that hard. Bullet fit is important. Commercial cast bevel base bullets with the hard crayon lube will lead my barrels where my bullets will not. 9mm is one I'll leave for someone else to help.

Where you are powder coating you will end up with about a 10-11 BHN regardless of what you start with unless you quench after you take them out of the oven, which isn't necessary unless you just want to do it. In my 45 auto I use Bullseye, Unique, 231 or WST with a 200 gr Miha HP thats powder coated. In my 9mm today I was shooting a 128 gr. HP that was powder coated, sized .357" & fueled with 4.1 grs of 231 powder. I also shot a 140 gr. Miha bullet designed especially for powder coating with 3.7 grs of 231. Both of these loads shoot very well in my S&W M&P 9mm. Several others powders work well in the 9mm. I use lots of WST in several different calibers.

Unique or 231 both shoot about the same. This boolits shoots great in 45 Colt as well. I crimp it a little on the driving band just like 45 Auto and it's real accurate over 8gr Unique.

Thanks for the information. Was not sure if WW would be hard enough or not. I'll test a few when I get back home. Ronnie
