Bought a 317 and like the light weight but the trigger needs some work. Any recommendations for a gunsmith? Thanks, TC.

Tag for answers. I have the same revolver and would like to do the same thing. sandhiller Have you found issues with the front sight being too short? I have my rear bottomed out and it still shoots way high. May need to get an aftermarket sight for it ala Sixshot's offerings. -John

Most of the named gunsmiths do wonderful trigger jobs. Bowen did one for me on a Redhawk and it is one of the best triggers I have ever experienced on any double action. Sixshot has a son that is a gunsmith so he may be one to contact depending on the kind of projects he prefers to work on.

John, I just took it out and shot one time to see what the trigger was like. Don't care for the fiber optic site, it won't hold up in my world. Going to put a thinner front site in. Going to change the rear site blade to a regular notch not the goofy v blade it has in it. TC
