454 Casull cases? I would like to use heavy 45 Colt data in my Bisley 454 but want to use 454 brass. Okay or not ? p.s I am not talking about W296 or H110 etc. More like Unique or HS6 etc.

I use 454 Casull brass, standard primers and Longshot powder my mid range 454 Casull loads.
Out performs a 44 Magnum and about equal to top +P 45 Colt loads.
Brass life, as you expect, is terrific.
Data in the Hodgdons loading manual.

In my SBH Bisley 454, I use 454 Casull cases for loads that fall somewhere between a Ruger Only 45 Colt and a light 454 Casull. Unique, 2400 and HS6 work really well with the 300gr TCFP bullet from Missouri Bullet Co.
I've been working with IMR4227, but I'm getting really tired of being showered with unburned powder. 2400 has to be loaded a little hotter or you'll also get unburned powder. Unique and HS6 work the best.

Another option, just seat the bullet .1" lower. It will be identical to 45 colt +p. As long as you don't end up with bullet jump, you will be good to go.
Just looks a smidge odd.
