Love everything in all the photos; except the cut trigger guard. Sign me up for one without the trigger guard. Great platform, nice work on the weapon.

Wash it Jordan or Skelton who advocated a Semi-Fitz TG with a half-moon dished out on primary trigger finger side?
Nicely done, by the way.

Neat revolver. I always have liked the Fitz specials. A 2" Model 10 is one of my all time favorite revolvers -- you can actually get good fast hits with a 2" K, much more so than their small (relatively) size would leave you to believe.
I believe Armand Swenson referred to a Fitz special New Service he built as a "Super Belly Whomper" ... your build channels that in a nice size package.
I prefer an intact trigger guard, but I sure wouldn't turn up my nose at that piece. Nice work Sir. Thanks for the pics!
A Burns Martin shoulder rig would be icing on the cake.

For anyone interested, there is a 4" S&W model 29 no dash (1957-1960 vintage) on Gunbroker that has the trigger guard cut off Fitz-like priced CHEAP! I stopped looking at it about a month ago, as it went thru many weekly auction cycles unbought. It's probably still on there.
