I called and talked to the shop this morning. 6 shot, no records, they wouldn't pull the grips to see if they're signed by John or Dustin.
What's up with the dots on the bottom of the frame where John would normally number the gun?
So what work was most likely done to this gun? New barrel, front sight, action, grips, anything else? That's the original cylinder yeah?

Is that a New model or Old? Looks like old model vaquero since the cylinder frame in front of the grip frame is longer by a couple 10ths. The new ones have a shorter cylinder frame in front of the grip frame, but would know for sure if you had them both in hand. Or the seller could confirm what it is. I guess they have faith in the listing but I think it's pretty nuts that they want 21 hundo when they won't confirm what it is and may have misrepresented in the description to someone's peril. One may be able to get a pushing-the-envelope Blackhawk-only load with H110 for cast 250s at 1400, but it definitely won't do 454 pressures. Which goes beyond sales puffery. So hey kids, can you say "liability?"

Typically. Two dots meant Missouri gun when John was back there for a while in the mid 90s. On the big conversions, there is a dot on both sides. I'm guessing this is how he did the 6 shot work overs maybe??

John previously had a "small 45" and a "big 45" conversion listed on his website. The small 45 had a 6 shot cylinder and the big 45 had an oversized 5 shot cylinder if I'm remembering correctly. I don't have a copy of the description from his website and it is no longer posted there, at least I couldn't find it. I have one of his "Small 45" Bisley Vaquero conversions and the cylinder appears to be a factory cylinder, 1.731" OD roughly, with the "S" stamp on the barrel end of the cylinder. I would treat it like any other large framed Vaquero in terms of nothing stronger than Ruger Only loads from the published manuals.
They are very nice guns! I need to take a picture of mine. I'll try to do that tomorrow if the sun comes out and then add it to this post.

If it was a MO gun that would be before the New VaqueroBisleys. The smaller ones.
The stainless bisleys came out in 1999. A run of 500.
Before that it was Hammer Trigger and gripframe from casting John had.
But this is the polished SS.
Base pin screw and free spin. Maybe it's blocked. And that was when he was building and moving.......
I'm lost.
