Thanks for the kind words. I think that load is in the neighborhood for 1100fps out of the 386pd. The 386pd is accurate.

I used a file to file the bead flat to the sight. I then used a 50 line to the inch serrations file to serrate the sight and cold blue with a cold blue marker. Don't cold blue the gold dot.

That's a fine revolver, and you've got some nice sights on it! I have a 386 sc/s which is similar except for the steel cylinder. My sights are the standard 'Smith red insert front / white outline rear which are ok but I really like what you have done with your front.
