And it just arrived. No way is it a Harton. But I'd easily believe the cylinder was sent to him for work. If it's a Harton, the order sheet did not include the timing, cylinder fit, trigger, or grip fit.
The cylinder is REALLY nicely done though, I will tell you that.
If it shoots 22 mag nice, I will consider it money WELL spent.

so, might be a harton afterall. he said it's probably his. That noone else that he knows of does the kind of work this bearcat has.
good enough for me. Still no provenance, still just a probably harton, but it's not getting sold anytime soon anyways.
