Fortunately a very minor problem; the trigger return spring broke with less than 100 rnds through it.Anyone heard of this before? I was surprised that FA is charging me for the replacement even though I bought it new.(special order 32 mag/32-20).

I thought they came with a lifetime warranty.

All 97's are Premier Grades. PG's come with a Lifetime Warranty. Is there more to the story?

I called FA this afternoon and only spoke to the woman who answered the phone (secretary/receptionist??). She asked if I bought it new and I told her "yes" and she asked for my CC info.I told her I was disappointed and that I had only fired it about 100rnds. I also asked if she knew of any problem with them breaking. She did not offer any more info and I was not going to argue about a $3 part.
