Headed south again to Johnston County, North Carolina to my regular spot -- Hog Heaven Outfitters where I took this boar with my .500 JRH Bisley (by Jack Huntington). I was using Buffalo Bore's new .500 JRH load consisting of a 440 flat-nosed hardcast bullet at an advertised 1,325 fps (I haven't chronographed them). Shot was a hair over 50 yards (paced), high-shoulder (broke both). Bullet exited, the hog hit the ground and didn't even twitch. This happened right before darkness fell.

Love hunting pictures!
Wish we had hogs close by -- would make for some good year around fun. What shoulder rig are you using?

I was looking on youtube and some of them hogs attack .had any issues hunting them Thanks guys! Jon, only on a couple of occasions and in both cases, the hog was wounded. Not a high percentage considering how many I have killed. Like any animal, they can be dangerous under the right (or wrong) circumstances.
