Haven't ordered any new Tyler T grip adapters in several years. In the past they have had their troubles. On August 5, 2015 I ordered a couple from the company for a N Frame Smith and a Colt Detective Special. They arrived yesterday at the Post Office.
I ordered my first TGrip from Mr. Tyler in 1972, the ones that arrived yesterday are as good as the ones Melvin sent me for my Model 14 Smith in 1972. For those of you who still depend on DA revos and want to augment the factory wood with an adapter, give the Tyler people a try.

I definitely prefer them with the slim factory stocks.

In the late 70's or early 80's, myself and my partner were in route to Oklahoma City for an extradition hearing and stopped at Tyler's place of business to pick up a T-Grip that my partner had ordered. Since we were making a trip to OK he called and asked if he could pick them up, which we did. My partner was buying them for a S&W Model 65-3 which was our duty weapon at the time. He had a set of stag horn grips on his piece that made it look pretty snappy! While there I picked up a T-Grip for a S&W Model 36. I still have the M-36 and that T-Grip. Now a days the M-36 wears a pair of Pachmayr grips since it fits my hand better but if I were to put the original grips back on it I would definitely use the T-Grip. Nice to know they are still in business.
