Drops out at 340 grs and only cost $18 and change. Hopefully I'll get to range tomorrow to shoot it. Go for it Jeff!

Got to the range today. Looked like rain, but the weather report said 0-1% chance from 8:00 - !:00. Started raining halfway to the range, but was excited to test these Lee slugs in my .475 Linebaugh. With rain, fogged up glasses, and sweat interfering with my vision, it wasn't optimal testing conditions, but managed to get a few good groups that show a lot of promise. ![](http://i903.photobucket.com/albums/ac232/hooveje588/3670F81B-B681-4C3F-B588-BACDE855AD97_zpsakhehsnh.jpg) This is the 325 WFN GC slug. These are the better groups. It took a group or to for me, the gun, r load to get warmed up, but once all of us started cooperating, things worked out. ![](http://i903.photobucket.com/albums/ac232/hooveje588/0A378F6E-390A-4525-94E6-6497242E9C4E_zpsqec4gvgz.jpg) Here's the 400 gr LFN groups. It showed good manners right off the bat and was a very consistent shooter. I felt pretty good leaving the range knowing that my $18 dollar molds were up to the task. Like I said, I get the biggest kick from getting good slugs from an inexpensive mold! The only other thing I wondered was how the hell are these scientists predicting global warming, cooling, or climate change in the impending years, when they can't even predict the weather the next day, as I walked back to my truck in the rain?

Jeff have you ever done an over lay? Or that's what I call it. Same size backer, same size target for POA and it helps a bunch if the POA is in the same place on each backer. Number each target. Good notes are an enormous help. I used to think, "I will remember". Then get home and scratch my head.
The 3/4" dot is better than nothing for sure. But if your front sight is wide it's hard to hold windage real good. At least for me. Every ones eyes are different and effects how we do things. Did ya bring some spray antiperspirant with ya today? Jeff
