One we just completed last week (and unlike my first .450, this weighs more than 7.5 lbs). Claw extractor of course Barrel – stainless Shilen, premium grade. #5.5 contour, 23” long Stock – grey laminate with cross bolts Pad – 1” Pachmayr Decelerator Scope Base – Warne steel Rings – Warne quick detach, medium height Scope – 2.5x Leupold FX-II. Thick duplex reticle. Open sights – NEGC Masterpiece rear. Gold dot front Weight – 9 pounds 11 ounces My .416 Taylor wears a 2.5x Leupold and it has held up beautifully. The 450 Ackley is a neat cartridge. Shot some 600 grain casts, ( bullets thanks to 450AK ) at 2150 fps. This one is on a Commercial FN Mauser. Sorry, no pics.

I used to own one of these. Built by Brown back in the middle 80's on a left hand Remington 700 action bedded in a lightweight glass stock. Weight was 6 3/4 pounds. Sent it back to have a brake installed after shooting it three times but it was such a brutal kicker I could not control it. Made my 9.5 pound 458 Lott feel like a pussy cat. Nice rifle, should do well for squirrels:)

Lee, I am so glad you put some weight into this one. The 7-pounder is brutal at best. That is a very nice rifle!
