I just got a box in the mail, from Doc.. Few decent leather holsters here, all from "off the shelf" or nylon, kydex. So, when I opened this box, WOW ! Olfactory senses went to HAPPY ! Am talking Hoppe's no9, real black powder, Unique and cast bullet kinda thing. Somebody needs to market an after shave, it would only attract the right kinda woman for a shooter/hunter. Am digging frantically thru the gun pile to see what else might be happily hauled in this very, very nice holster. Thank You Doc, as I said, you could have waited for the check to clear, obviously you did not, and I thank You. Oh, the holster to fit the new Ruger SBH .480. I know, a cart before the horse thing, but..

Doc, pm or call me with info as to how you have treated the leather and recommend future treatment. I'm a snow-belt, sno-seal guy myself..Have preferred wax..

He treats the leather with love and respect and talks real nice to it before bed...

OK, the SS NM BH .357 6 1/2" fits nicely, even the NM FT BH 44spec 5 1/2" ain't bad. I can see this holster getting lots of use. I especially appreciate the effort and attention to detail that went into even molding in the space where the belt will be, not just folding the leather over and sewing/riveting. Very nice touch ! At first glance, you might think this a pretty plain holster, then the details start to stand out.

It's a great smell! My shop/man cave smells like nothing but fresh leather. Every time I walk in I take a deep breath. About like walking into a big Harley dealership. There's one of those in there too.
