Does Reloder 7 still use the blue, yellow and red kernels mixed in? I have some 1991 vintage canisters that do, but I have a partial, newer 2006 can that does not and the kernels look quite different. This came from my late dads stuff and I wonder if he dumped something else into the can and forgot to label it.

I've got 2 pounds of RL7 and it is made up of very fine extruded kernels, charcoal in color with no other colors mixed in.
Mine is marked Made In Sweden for Alliant Powders. I bought this a couple months ago from Powder Valley.

Hmmm interesting, the newer can I have is longer kernels, not fine at all. I suspect its something else. My Lyman manual does state that the original 7 did have these colors in it. Thanks.
