Today,,, we had some guests at my range. Today was our monthly USPSA match,,, and our guests own a powder company called; "Shooters World." It's a smaller company,,, but they have actually been in business for a few years, selling in bulk mostly. Well they are branching out a bit, & now offering some powders in 1 lb & 5 lb containers. Today,,, they arrived with 2 powders for sale & some "sample" containers of a 3rd powder. Today they had "Clean Shot" & "Match Rifle." The burn rate of "Clean Shot" is comparable to Accurate No 2, Titegroup, & WW-231. It's a pistol & shotgun powder. An example of a load is; 45 Auto; Federal cases; 230 grn FMJ bullets; 5.3 grns of powder; Velocity of 900 fps; Pressure at 19,000 PSI. That's a top end load. The cost is $18 per lb. Or, if you buy a 5 lb keg,, it comes to $85 a keg. You can check them out at; www.shootersworldsc.comIt's very possible they will have some stuff for the attendees at my October East Coast Gathering. They will also be donating to my Autism Charity match.

I got a sample of the Autopistol,, but bought a pound of the CleanShot. I haven't had time to test it yet,,, as I just got it yesterday. Today I spent my time painting part of the house,,, doing an oil change in Miss Penny's car, picking up stray brass in 6 bays, straightening up the 6 bays after yesterdays shoot,,,, & lastly,,, shooting about 60 rounds of 41 mag just for fun.

And that was all before lunch right?
One thing I did notice when I checked out the website, was to me, the lack of details in information. Not bashing the company in any way, but some more info would help them. They do want to sell powder,,,
1. #2 and W231 both have low flash additives. 2. Both Titegroup and AA#2 are NON position sensitive. 3. Cleanliness I am all for. W231 and #2 are dirty ( But I still use them both ) 4. #2 Is low recoil It would be nice if they let us have more info. Maybe I should ask them for some. They are overseas if I understand things right. I will look for an Email address.

I'll gladly ask these questions. They are local to me,,, and I can call them.
Update; I called & got a bit of info. The technical guy who could answer questions better has a message to call me. But,,, these powders are imported from the Czech Republic. Reloading date is via Explosia.
