go here for lots of fine 480 data from hodgdons: www.hodgdonreloading.comGuessing, but I expect Brian Pearce to have an article in Handloader on loading for the new Ruger 480 in the near future. He did when the Lipsey 44 SP FT, 45 FT, and 327 Single Sevens came out. Bill

HIGHLY recommend!
Some of the best $$ I've spent.
Even has all the load data from Handloader and Rifle.

Loaddata.com is well worth the small annual fee.

Ok, just found the magazine-like Hodgens manual here. Thank for the above info. Saved ! Seems like same primers/powders as .44mags use. So am already in good shape there. Lets see, wonder how much FFG or FFFG it'll take to fill that case up ! Then, gonna need a wasp/rice loads. A shotshell load too. But first gonna need a deer hunting load. The good, no make that great thing about big bores is, pretty much ANY bullet will lethal on deer.
