I recently purchased a couple cans of No5 and one of No7. What is the best way of using these powders? I shoot and reload for 38, 357, 40 44Spl, 44 Mag and 45 ACP,
I run AA7 in the 44spl, 44 Mag and 45 Colt for mid-range loads. Good, clean burning powder. Accurate has quite a bit of data; you might also check out the Ramshot Powder manual as it has loads for AA powder too.
AA #5 is the best powder that I have found for the 45 ACP with full power 230 grain jacketed bullets. Very accurate and consistent with high velocities, and it meters well too.......
Thank you for the tips! I have ordered a manual from Accurate Arms. I too have looked long and hard for AA9 with negative results, same luck as I have had attempting to find 2400. Appreciate your help.....

Went looking for some AA 7 tonight and tried all the usual suspects in my area, no luck. Then I told my boy. Sometimes the least likely place will have what you want. Coastal Farm and Ranch in Mt Vernon, WA had about 3 pounds of it, so I bought one. Never having used it before but wanting to try it in a couple of different applications, I didn't see the need to buy all they had. If it was R19 I would have! I cant find any of that for love nor money!
