I'm buying a CZ 527 in 7.62 X 39 to add to the CZ collection for my birthday ( in fairness I had left a space for this rifle in the CZ's ) I currently shoot 7.62 X 39 in semi auto form, buying steel cases, & not reloading... I just picked up the dies, & plan on buying Prvi ammo in reloadable brass cases for this rifle... along with the 7.62 X 54R I added a couple weeks ago... I must be getting close to 80 calibers... thought when you got old, you were supposed to start simplifying things

Simplifying? You're just getting warmed up! Time to hit your stride and really see what you can do!

They are a great little rifle. I have owned one for many years and with Wolf steel cased 122 gr copper plated hollowpoints it drops deer and hogs well.

I got a few 527s. 2 are Royals. For my daughter and I. Two others are going to be rebarreled to wildcats. Love those dam things.

I bought one of the CZ527s in 7.62x39 when they first came out. What a terrific and great shooting little gun. You will love it.

dry fired the single set trigger a few times... seems pretty good "unset" & beautifully crisp & light when it's set... it's wearing a Vortex Diamond back 4 - 12 scope with the bullet drop reticle... I've not sighted it in yet... been mowing every chance I get between rain lately I bought some Prvi ammo with the soft point bullets to sight it in with & will reload those specifically for the rifle, when I get some of those shot up... actually thinking about buying another 327 in 223... my current one is an "American" has the longer barrel & no set trigger... the new carbine in 7.62 X 39 has a great feel in the hands... if it shoots as good as it looks, I may have to sell the American & order a new carbine I'm wondering if I could buy the set trigger trigger groups... I have an older 527 American in 22 Hornet, & I don't think they offer that in the carbine in current chamberings???
