Anybody else get one of the MP 358-640L molds from Miha?
I've been looking for some loads and can't find much for 125gn-ish cast bullets.
This one has a pretty long nose and should leave lots of case capacity.
I would think it would do 1550 or so?
Thanks!

Jacketed data for 125 gr bullets will work with cast bullets, and you get the benefit of around 100 fps more, give or take, a tad more with PC.

I have the 145gr version of that bullet in a plain based design, shoots very nice but I have only run it up to 38+P levels. I like the bullet a lot, it's not as accurate as my RCBS 158gr Semiwadcutter bullet but it cast bullets a lot faster.

As my buddy Jeff says, start with jacketed data. Cast will generally give less pressure. Sixguns tend to like correctly sized bullets and often prefer one load/bullet over another. You just have to try it and see. A Lyman cast bullet manual is very useful as well. A report back will be expected! Have you shot the FA yet??? Where's that report !!!

Don't you worry. I was checking the throats on the .32-20 and the .327 cylinders today with the boolits I cast as well as some I've got stacked up.
Wish I had bought the .357 too.......
You guys have put so much info up I don't know where to start loading.
As soon as the darned weather clears up.
It's been cold and blowing like mad here.
