Thanks for that info! Very nice! No problem, you are welcome...I'd love to know more about it myself as this gun would have been commissioned during a time that folks called the 44 Associates were putting pen to paper and talking all about the 44 Spl...it was also a time when many were converting to the "New Magnum" in .357...no one wanted those "old cowboy calibers". Little currently exists about the company but I am privileged to know a man that has some other great examples of the work. Doc just mentioned how cool it would be to see their record books of conversions...if they even existed. It was actually SS1 that got me thinking about the King company, a closer look at Elmer's guns, a coincidental meeting of my wife whose grandfather is my hero, an eBay auction where I won a brand new (with unfitted blade) King mirrored front sight for a Smith...then, this honor.

Yup that gun is beyond cool and the best guns all have stories wrapped in them. But be wise, Madbo can be pretty resourceful when he wants to pry a gun from a gentleman, and he will want this one. I for one don't blame him either.

WOW ! That's a beauty ! I really like the thinner blade, banded front sight. Ok, so I really like the 'hole darn thing.

Am glad that such a sixgun fell into the proper hands. We've only met the once so I'll say it, NEVER sell that gun, unless the wife or one of the kids in on the table. Then Grandpa and Elmer would understand.

Well, I want to shoot it before Zeus or Tank! Doc's too busy, Fermin's too far away, Madbo would be dropping ping pong balls on it & I'll let you whack a badger & all the rock chucks you can hit with it!

Don't do it Curt! Sixshot will stick a bullet in your barrel for sure and certain!!
Bring that fine 44 on south. It should be shot by a boot wearing man!! Not some guy who wears crocs and hangs out with Utah fishermen...
