Watching Randolph Scott in the Tall T tonight circa 1957 and at the beginning a guy is holding a brass framed Henry. Also have watched Winchester 1873,and seen where a '92 was called a Henry. At what time did Old West copies start showing up? Be kind,I am only 47 but am curious just the same. =)

Cannot answer your question but the single worst instance of wrong gun I can think of was in Sniper III I think, with Tom Berenger. I nearly fainted when he picked up a Mosin Nagant sniper rifle and knowingly declared "ah, the 98 Mauser. Finest rifle that ever was!" I nearly turned it off right there, surely the worst of the Sniper series.
