Found this last Friday... Kimber "Target Match" Limited run made in 2005... Been fired but is virtually NIB... Has a spring guide but no firing pin block... Will take a while for me to bail it out and post pics... A little detectable slide to frame movement but the barrel locks up in the slide solid as a rock... Best CMP 45 Cal Service Pistol legal trigger ( minimum 4.0 pounds) I've ever felt on an off-the-shelf production gun...

Kimber Offers One Thousand Target Match .45 ACP Pistols
Yonkers , New York , May 5, 2005 – For just the second time in company history, Kimber® has announced the production of a true limited edition pistol. One thousand Target Match™ .45 ACP pistols will be produced. A special serial number sequence of KTM0001 – KTM1000 will set them apart.
The Target Match has a striking appearance. The frame has matte black finish over the curves and brush polished flats, along with 30 LPI checkering on the front strap and under the trigger guard. The frame is also undercut at the trigger guard to encourage a higher grip for more control during rapid fire.
The slide also is matte on the curves and brush polished on the flats. A traditional slide with internal extractor and adjustable sight, it has a wide serration pattern, match grade barrel and chamber. This pistol does not have the Series II system.
The trigger is a solid aluminum set to break clean at four pounds, and the Target Match includes an ambidextrous thumb safety, the new Kimber bumped and grooved grip safety and black small parts. Special grips round out the package.
Suggested retail price is just $1,336 and pistols are already shipping to Kimber Master Dealers across America . As with all Kimber pistols, the Target Match is made entirely in the Kimber factory right here in America.
