Equal parts classy & badass!
Beautiful single action.
I've been looking at a lot of grips, lately. Dall sheep horn grips are about as fine as I've seen, IMHO.
Of course, we all have our own likes & dislikes.
I have to agree with the folks who are "cool" on CCH. I prefer a blued gun over CCH, any day.
Again, nice revolver!

So this is one nice gun. Close to what I'm having built by JG complete with Dall Sheep grips from a horn I found sheep hunting in the Brooks Range. But can you please fix the spelling of "doll sheep" to "Dall Sheep"  Just a pet peeve of a Dall Sheep hunter! |

Is that gun ever going to come? I fixed the spelling. I know better.... Last week JG told me he is getting out from under a backlog of work and that mine has top priority and is on his bench. He says "early this summer". I didn't ask him "who's" summer Here in Alaska it's early summer! Fall is August! Anyways, I really like the looks of this Bowen 500L. I thought about fluted cylinder but decided not too. |
