I am looking for RH carry holsters for 4 5/8" flattops and 5 1/2" Ruger Blackhawks. Simple, rugged everyday holsters. I am about to order a couple of custom ones but the wait is long. Who makes what I need that would have them in stock or do any of you have a left over for sale?

Call Rob Leahy over at Simply Rugged and order a Sourdough holster or 2, he probably has those in stock or can turn them in 1-2 weeks at most. They are great field holsters, tough, carry your gun very well and are great value. www.simplyrugged.com (928) 227-0432 He is a member here and on top of that you wont find a more top notch man to deal with...

I just got off the phone from ordering a holster from Freedom Arms - got a 6" high ride cross draw for my 5.5" Stainless Bisley. From what I've read they make (or carry) good quality holsters. They said the one I asked for would ship out tomorrow. Not sure if they have what you're looking for in stock, but I'd say give them a call. Nice lady answered the phone and took my order. 307-883-2468

I have several Threepersons style holsters from a seller on Ebay, h.c.leather. He only makes that style but does a natural tan, black and/or basketweave. Superb work and perfect for everyday.

Andrew Just picked up my third from him and they are superb. He does offer hammer thong or hammer strap as well. Another is CME holsters. He did a couple custom crossdraw holsters and ammo pouches for me.

Another vote on CME, I've got 4 of their holsters for 4 5/8 and 3 3/4" guns, all cross draw and they are very easy to work with or customize one of the holsters further.

You can also call Von Ringler at 307-645-3255 to see if he has anything in stock. Not certain but I think some shops in his area carry his holsters as a regular item.

I bought an uncle mikes or equivalent for a temporary holster for my 4 3/4" new Vaquero until my Mernickle came in. They are pretty cheap and always give you a back up.

Another recommendation for Rob Leahy and Simply Rugged. And Mike Barranti does top notch work and is a true gentleman.
