Had the gun forever, but just bought a set of grips (same as the Match Champion) for it. My camera sucks, but I really love these grips!

REALIZING GRIPS ARE HIGHLY SUBJECTIVE I FOUND THESE TO BE UNCOMFORTABLE WITH FULL-HOUSE LOADS IN THE MATCH CHAMPION AND REPLACED THEM WITH STANDARD GP GRIPS. THEY LOOK GOOD BUT DO NOT FEEL GOOD TO ME WHEN SHOOTING.

Just shot it today with the new grips. I didn't find it bad at all. I didn't shoot nothing too hot in it though.

For what ever reason, Hogue chose to build up the hump at the top of those grips, making it much thicker at that point than the factory rubber grips. That extra material in hump makes the gun sit oddly....in my hands at least.
I bought a pair of similar grips from Hogue (uncheckered, but otherwise identical) and promptly reduced the hump to the more traditional profile. Now it feels great and points much more naturally....again, that is in my hands, ymmv. BTW, I really like the lack of finger grooves, despite what I may think of the hump. I can make small adjustments to my grip easily as a result of not having to squirm around grooves meant to fit "Everyman".
