Called Alan to tell him the 414 arrived and that I was pleased. Asked him about building me a tight spec chamber 45 Colt on a 44 mag DW.. He said... "YES"

Toes? Still wearing all ten! Thank you very much for asking about them. Here are five... Keeping them is a big thing for insulin dependent diabetics!

I'd keep that 375SM and pick up a 357Max for the conversion. Don't think that it would make a difference to Alan but the 357 is so much more common.

You have 414 brass Stan? If not, let me know and I will send some when I get back from Georgia. It is good to see Alan is getting some use out of the 414 reamer. When I had him do my 414 a few years ago he had not heard of the cartridge and had to order a reamer.

Thanks Robb, I have a few but can always use more. Alan may get to use that 414 reamer a little more. When I talked to him yesterday he had already gotten calls about my DW..

I'd offer that 375 up for trade for a 357. Might get a nice 357 Max and a little cash to boot! Shot the remaining loaded zeroing rounds through the 414 yesterday. Little beast makes a different kind of noise. Seems to be pretty accurate too.

Yo Aciera! Tell us about that 375 DW of yours. You might find someone here who will trade you a 357Max for it. I've got a 375 but they are uncommon enough that I might consider trading you my 357 just to have a second one. I can find another 357 any day of the week.. I've got to get up with the Georgia boy who made the thumbrest grips currently on my 375. I'd like to have a set for each of my SuperMags.
