Mr Huntington is working on a full build for me in a Ruger Bisley oversized six holer, chambered in .45 Colt. I am very excited. I am having him sight it in for my favorite 355gr. Keith bullet packed with 22 grains of Hell 110, my favorite powder ignited by a magnum primer. I am also sending him some 325 Keith bullets with 24 grains of H110. I like the fact that it will be a 6 shot. I wanted to find out if there is a lot of you that use him for builds and if there is any pictures or feedback that you could give me. I guess I am just looking forward to getting my gun and would like to hear from others on their experiences. Thanks in advance. I have thoroughly enjoyed this forum, even though I don't comment that often.

He's great all the way around. Easy to work with, on time and reasonably priced and usually not grouchy.

If I am ever able to afford another custom I would like to see what he could do with a vaquero I've had for a while and haven't gotten around to shooting. Would gladly do business with him again

Jack will be doing my next custom, if I ever get around to sending it to him. It will be a .500JRH Bisley built on the 50th anniversary .44Mag Blackhawk with a 4 5/8" octagon. It will be engraved and probably stocked in ivory. I can't imagine anyone else doing a better job. His work is top shelf.

Jack does all my DA work and pretty much all my recent 5-shot work as well. I have a .500 Linebaugh, I have had a .500 Max and a .480 Ruger that have both moved on, I just got back a .480 New Vaquero, I have a .480 Midframe flattop in work, and a .45 Supermag, .500 S&W, and a FA 83 in .500 JRH planned at the moment. Easy to work with and reasonable pricing.

I appreciate all the gorgeous pictures and feedback guys. Thank you guys so much for taking the time. I can't wait to get my blaster. Whitworth, you have a strong addiction it looks like. Those look like the ones in the magazine that I seen a while back. Very nice guys. I will post pictures of mine when it gets here. It is very plain, but I like the ideas behind the gun. I prefer the barrel banded 5.5" barrels, but I could not afford it at this time. It will have a .820" diameter non tapered barrel on this one.

I sent a New Model Super Blackhawk to JRH last month for conversion to 5 shot .45 Colt. This particular gun was useless to me and his modification of the grip along with fitted stocks was the main reason for choosing him to do the work.
I am getting the banded barrel, just because. I have not talked to him since shipping the gun but plan to shortly just to make sure that I have provided all the information he needs. He estimated 5-6 months for completion.
Hopefully, I will have learned to post pictures by the time it is completed.

Jack does great work. He built me a 475L and did his grip extention on my BFR (both pictured below). He is also working on a 41 mag project for me now - hope to get it back soon.

Steve, That was a very cool thread. I LOVE the metal work. That shows some great talent with Jack's metal work. Thanks for sharing that with me.

JRH has reworked a BFR 475L for me and I couldn't be more satisfied. He is definitely a fine craftsman.
