Hard to believe the performance you can get from such a pipsqueak of a round

It has me wanting to get a single shot in 300 Blackout as a little companion.

Sure would! Hell for that matter I could take a 30-30 Contender barrel and ream it to AI......

Not that the .30-30 is a stomper in the recoil department...maybe I'm just getting softer as I get older. Don't they have a .300 Blackout Handi-Rifle now?

Yep and they cost less than the barrel would.... Of course I'd have to get a Buffalo Classic stock set to put on it. Wouldn't be nearly as nice as a Contender though.

Tek - awesome work! Way to put the micro-carbine to use! The 300BLK is fun to play with, especially subsonically

Forgot to post that I got another doe with the little rifle this last season. 150ish yards quartering towards me Entrance Exit And some damage from a rib that it shattered Same load of 15gr H110 and the Lee soupcan checked and tumbled in Alox.

What is your alloy like on the Lee Soup Can? Any expansion or just straight penetration? In case anyone is interested, there's a CVA Hunter in 300 BLK on GB for $250. If I wasn't in debt-erase mode I would have bid on it myself. I have a CVA Hunter in 35 Remington and it's a little tack driver. www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=546988866I looked at the CVA website, and they don't show the 300 BLK in the Hunter anymore, just the Scout and that is more money if you're budget minded... but the Scout looks like a nicer rifle, all around.
