I'm going to need some longer 1/2 to 1" 6x48" thread screws to make some custom permanent plug screws. Does anybody know where I might find some like this? I've got a bunch of the little short ones but they are too short and have the screw slot in them.
I'm going to be making some slotless plug screws to permanently fill some holes.

I've found them at the local hardware store. You may want to try Lowes, they have a pretty good selection of screws etc.

Ace hardware, brownells, and there are several online dealers.

Scratch local True Value Hardware stores. All they have is 6x32 and 6x40.
Considering this is he only place in this entire area that had 5x40 screws for a set of grips I got with no screws I'm thinking a local search will be for naught.
Probably should just call Brownells and see what they got.
