I just picked up some of Kim Ahrend's Boot Grips to replace the stocks on my 3" 657. What do you think of Cordia stocks? Here is another set on my 27-3:

Nice! They're certainly distinctive but not garish or distracting. Ahrends does great work.

I like his non-finger groove grips but wish he would come up with a better finish.

Two Fine Smiths . Can't give an opinion without a couple of extensive range tests. Send them to Idaho and I'll be happy to do the work.

NICE LOOKING, but I have never ever understood the use or need of fingergrooves. MY fingers have NO problem lineing up all by their little ol' selves. AND in almost all the finger groove stocks I ever had or tested my fingers came down on the mountains instead of in the valleys.

AND in almost all the finger groove stocks I ever had or tested my fingers came down on the mountains instead of in the valleys. It's obvious you have defective fingers then! I have only one pair of F.G. grips on my N-frame 25-13 and they fit my hand quite well. I ink the one above look great but if I was to order a set today, I think I'd order sans grooves.
