Work it out for a Blackhawk or an N Frame Smith and I'm VERY interested... From the man himself when asked about a Blackhawk or a K-frame Smith - "Could be done on any revolver." I'll be interested to see the future development on other platforms as well.

I saw that, but I read it as it could be done but he hadn't worked out the details yet. Could be a total mis-read on my part.

Chris has been doing alot of R&D on this and has applied for a few patents as well. His 100yd groups are very impressive! I'm sure he'll be doing this conversion to others wheelguns soon.

I wonder what kind of stress the barrel shank is under with no support at the frame. I discussed doing a 44 special conversion on a 681 earlier this year with Hamilton Bowen, and he said no barrels over 3-4 inches (and light profile at that) due to the possibility of the shank giving up the ghost in recoil. I realize it's a totally different animal being a bored out barrel, different brand and all, but a 10" lever has to be exerting some significant force in recoil with no support at the frame. I'd be worried about long term durability.

From what Chris has described is the barrel is free floated and the shroud is on the frame, similiar to an AR I'm guessing.
