This is my gp100 match champion. It is magna-ported and mooncliped along with a docter red dot. I slicked up the trigger and lightened up the springs and shimmed it even tighter and slicker then the factory. It is very potent and fun to shoot.

Did the trigger need slicking up and did the springs need to be lightened?

Thanks guys. The trigger was very soft from the factory compared to a stock Gp100. I just enjoy tinkering so I polished it up a little and reduced the springs even more. I'm at a 9# hammer and the lowest trigger return spring in the kit. I shimmed the hammer dog and hammer a little tighter thanks to shims from triggershims.com. Was it all needed from factory? Probably not. But I'm just obsessed with perfection. The docter red dot is excellent. I chose this sight because of the company's heritage and history along with the fact it is made of steel and glass compared to plastic. The color is a terra- earth brownish copper. It is great for me compared to iron sights plus it is just fun to use. The moon clips by TK customs are perfect. Along with the porting. It shoots nice and flat keeping that dot in the screen. My reloads are 2.8 grains of bullseye under a Missouri bullet company .158 grain lrn with a federal 100 primer. Attachments:

I wish I could find a club that would let me shoot this. I live in Cleveland ohio and there really are not any clubs within a few hours of me that I could participate in. Everyone around here is a zip gun/bottom feeder tactical type. I plan on participating in icore next summer when it comes back to central region next year. I have a moonclip server belt which is a sweet set up. I load all my moon clips with a BMT moonclip loader /unloader tool. I will post pictures up later. I set up my own targets and plate racks that I built. at a range on the east side and all the glock plastic gun guys are just amazed at seeing a younger guy shooting a revolver.

RIGHT ON!!! Revolvers have more soul! Great set up. I have an MC but it isn't set up like yours. Hope you have an opportunity to use that in competition, and burn through some of the bottom feeder mindsets.
Enjoy the gun!
