that high wall is in 50-90??? wonder why c sharps won't chamber them in the big .50?

that high wall is in 50-90??? wonder why c sharps won't chamber them in the big .50? That high wall has some strength issues if I rememeber right. C Sharps built my 50 AK on a 74 action...would not discuss the other, and I might add it took me 8 yrs to talk John into bldg the 50AK fwiw

I was under the impression that the 1885 was the stronger action vs the 1874--in fact, IIRC, this came from a rep at C sharps when I spoke to them

That's a limited edition Win 1885 made in the early 2000's. Davidsons had125 copies of two different models made in 50/90. That one is the BPCR model and it came with a factory fitted Badger barrel. The other model was a lighter weight 'Hunter' model with a tapered octagonal barrel, Marbles tang sight and crescent buttstock. Weight is around 8.5 lbs. for the Hunter and around 13 lbs for the BPCR model. Barrels in both models were 30" long. I have one of the Hunter models and with full power loads it is a handful.
