Does anyone here know if there was ever a head stamped run of 50 special brass. Or was it always made frome 348 WIN, 500 Linebaugh. I have been trying to find some 50 specials for my big bore case collection, and have been unsuccessful as of yet.
If anybody has some information on how I could get my hands on some 50 special brass it would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jonathan.

There was a run of them made by Jamison I want to say but it was a number of years ago. Fish around I'm sure if you want a couple for the collection you can manage it. If you want some to shoot, cut down 500L brass...

Thanks for the info Fowler. I will have to keep an eye out to see if any of those pop up any where.

Ask Hamilton Bowen. If there was a run made, he might know where some ended up. Tim

Ben Forkin made all of Bowens brass for him. I'd give him a call now that I think of it. I think he told me he had some proper head stamped brass but I'm not sure.
