I have been hearing nothing but good about these new six shooters. I love the 454 Casull and it's versatility when it comes to handloading. Hope the 480 Ruger chambered ones are available soon. It's next....
But, for now, an online dealer had the 454s in stock so it's on the way to my local dealer for pick up.

Better revise that to "SRH" instead of "SBH" You'll have the single action boys in a wild fenzy! We haven't seen any with that new front sight that Max showed off a few months back. I was scanning over the new SRHs on the shelf just last week and still see only the old style.

Thanks Stan. That's what happens when I try to post while working.

I have had my SRH Alaskan .454 for years and years and I love it death...although with full-bore loads it will make Thor flinch!
Say, as much as I love the Alaskan, wouldn't a 2.75 inch REDHAWK (not SRH) in .44 Magnum be cool?
Just saying'...

Whit, haven't found one yet. But, the first one I see goes home with me. I have always loved the SRHs, but didn't like the gray finish. Hope this one shoots as well as yours did and a range report will be posted here.

The only model in 480 Ruger is the S.S. 7 1/2". I picked up the one I ordered in 454 Casull today. It's built to far better tolerances than my older model one that was originally a 44 Magnum.
I have high hopes for these two revolvers. They are like a Double Action BFR in my book. Not cheap, but a lot of quality for the bucks.
