I prefer the sights and the lockwork of the S&W to the Colt Army Special. Your forcing cone is thicker than mine which makes the recolver a bit more tolerant of exuberance… I try not to get carried away with the Colt and shoot only lead bullets in it. Mine is a 5inch which is consolation over it being a Colt.

Nice Colt! And the Smith & Wesson is also nice. I have a 1905 hand ejector with a tapered 6in.bbl. that's in rough shape from corrosive primers and the lack of care. Have a neat little 4in.Colt police positive that in great shape. Have not had the time to shoot either gun.
