LoL...I just did the same thing. I almost got it posted, but my file exceeded the 1MB size limit by 1.96MB. Seems the only way to do it is go to some photo resizing webpage, resize it, then come back here and reattach the shrunken version. I love posting pics, but it's getting to be a time consuming PITA.

I've owned an 1895GBL for about six months now. The fit and finish on the rifle is much better than I expected, given all the problems I've read about on the internet. The stock fit is a little sloppy in a couple of places, but not terrible. I've shot several brands of store-bought ammo through it, but mostly 405 grain lead bullets that I have cast from a Lyman 457193 mold. I guess I'm too dumb to know any better, but the specs for my gun show Ballard rifling and I have taken that as gospel and never checked. My cast bullets shoot as well as I am able to shoot and so far, I haven't seen any material amount of leading. I don't load anywhere near max loads, but I do give the bullets a pretty fair bump.

I tried really hard to buy a Remlin in the last 6 months but failed. Every one I seen at LGS's had just plain terrible wood to metal fit. I ended up buying a Henry 45-70 instead.
I am glad they are improving as I would love to get the wife a 30-30 at some point.

What does it mean when it's marked "microgroove" on the barrel? My 1894S 44 had that on it. I finally traded it for a blue Redhawk Hunter that didn't have that on it. It didn't shoot any better. ;-)
