I have done a lot of rifle and handgun instruction over the years for new shooters. For rifle shooting I've most often used the Boy Scouts rifle shooting merit badge booklet as it was designed by the NRA and is cheap and very good on what it covers. Sadly, the BSA doesn't produce a similar manual for handgun shooting. Are any of you gentlemen aware of a free electronic pamphlet that covers handgun shooting and handling basics that I could use as a reference for some interested students? I have plenty of printed material but I'd like everyone to have an identical copy they could reference and keep.
Thank you! Max.

I don't know if it's available any more or not and it probably wouldn't be free, but....
The people who "taught" me how to shoot a handgun unfortunately didn't know how. So, for a few years, I couldn't hit squat with one.
Then one day a magazine arrived (might have been G&A but not sure) and there was an article by Ross Seyfried and I believe the title was "How To Hit With A Handgun." I read the article, stepped outside, applied what he said, and in about 20 minutes I went from having a hard time hitting a barn to being able to pop bunnies in the head at 30 yards. I would recommend his article. It was short and to the point with no BS and it worked for me.
Of note, the two who originally "taught" me how to shoot a handgun still think a handgun is thoroughly useless.
