I'm finally going to deal with my single six 38super . I have no problem using jacketed 9 mm bullets but hard cast not so much. Sized heads at .356 will not pass through cylinder throats with a gentle or not so gentle push. I ordered a lee sizing die in .355 ,still no go. Pin gauges would tell the tale ,alas I'm fresh out. So would anyone who has minus pin gauges in .356,355,354,353 like to rent em out? Or have a path I should go down? Thanks

Where ya at?
Have you tried pounding a cast bullet thru and then miking it? Softer lead is much better, maybe a fishing weight, might have them at wally world.

Find a small local mon/pop machine shop and try calling them, pretty much all machine shops use pin gauges everyday and would probably just measure them for you in a couple minutes. Doubt they would charge you ether but I could be wrong there.
