Hi guys. I'm a big fan of the ribbed n frame barrels on custom Blackhawks. Would a ribbed k32 barrel work on a 32 single six project in a similar fashion?

Works fine with a little welding and filing. Check out Bowen's website for a few more examples. Seems like it started life as a K22 barrel rebored for .312". Tim

Very very nice. Any more pictures of yours squawberryman?
Princeout that's just about what I'm going for but have a set of pretty stags for the stocks, and a partridge front sight like squawberryman has.

Dave, Princeout hit it on the head. Go to the workshop of Bowen's sight and go to the 327 section. Not the FA, that thing's too darn pretty

I remembered the workshop page about 10 minutes after I posted if it would fit. Mr Bowens shop turns out some envy worthy revolvers for sure.

You want a Smith 48 or 17 barrel for the re-bore. they're not easy to find but keep an eye on Gunbroker and you'll find one sooner or later.
Bowen used to have details about building one of these conversions on his website but it seems to have been removed.
He has 2 17 barrels of mine now being re-bored to .25 and .32

Mr. Bowen should have at least one 6" K22 barrel if he has not used it, i traded it to him a few months back. Ronnie

Won an unfinished un marked 6" k32 ribbed barrel on gunbroker last night. Has some rust spotting but hopefully it will clean up alright, supposedly has a good bore.

I picked up a K22 barrel for just that purpose a couple years ago, but then ended up selling it directly to Hamilton Bowen when I changed directions. Hamilton saw me post something about it on the Ruger Forum and sent me an email and we made the deal.
That front sight and the ribbed barrel really set things off just right. Very nice, squawberryman!
