I have been lusting after these little kit guns ever since I saw one years ago. My local dealer happen to have a new one in ironically just today and I just couldn't pass it up, outrageous cost be damned! I swear this little .22 (3 inch barrel) weighs less than my iPhone! Should make a great little addition to my grouse vest or just on the belt for informal field jaunts.
Who here has one of these and what holster do you use? I'm thinking if I can find a Desantis Nemesis that will fit a 3 inch J Frame that would be just the ticket for an in-vest pocket of my Filson game vest and possibly a Simply Rugged pancake for the belt.

Congrats! I have wanted one of those for quite a while but haven't seen one to handle. I am afraid that if I did, I would have to have it!

Thanks!
Lots of views and no suggestions... Nobody here has found a pocket holster solution for a 3 inch J frame? How about.a kydex IWB holster? I may end up picking one up and taking the belt loops/ hook off and see if that will work. Regardless, I'll pick something up and report back here.

I have a 317 Lady Smith 1 7/8" and a 3" 317 just like yours. We've loaded the 3 incher with CCI CB Longs to quiet obnoxious squirrels when bow hunting elk. Never used a holster -- works great in a pocket.
Both of mine have the Pachy Gripper Deceleraors. With the 3", even at 10 oz (plus Pachys), V notch rear and green fiber optic front I can consistently hit 9" plates at 50 yards -- no flies on this 3".
The 1 7/8" snubby doesn't shoot to POA -- it's off quite a bit (can't remember how much exactly), but with that said it is a blast (pun intended) to shoot. Bought it originally as a practice gun for the 340PD .357 (most viscious recoiling revolver on the planet for me anyway).
FWIW,
Paul

Agree with Zeus. Forgot to add that I have various pocket holsters (Uncle Mikes, Remoa, and various leather) that work with the 317. Most leather hip holsters will weigh more than the gun.

Wife has one with F/O sights. The only holster we have for it is an Uncle Mike's because she doesn't pack it, but it may go on the ATV or fanny pack for fishing. We don't have enough ammo thru it for a solid opinion on it.

Should have at least 1 picture. Here's mine. Great gun and very accurate. Usually carry it in a pocket and use this Uncle Mikes for some protection when dumped in a bag or in a vehicle. It's not a very good fit. Any 4 inch J frame holster would work fine. Dennis
