STOEGER---pronounced STAYger---is Beretta's importer for all things they make with their subsideries that do not carry the BERETTA name. THIS does NOT include all the stuff imported by someone else....like CIMARRON for instance. I think I got this correct...

Man, that is a neat Trapdoor. I also have an H&R and I agree with the OP, it's not near as well finished as the Stoeger.

Lot o' money though. If I recall from the Uberti website the carbine is around $1700.00, the rifle about 2K. My experience is Ubertis are not heavily discounted either. But they do look awfully nice.

My friend picked his up at a gun show NIB for $725, so bargains can be found.
