I was going through my powder supply and found 5-6lbs of H-108. I bought 4- 8lb jugs from either Powder Valley or Grafs at least a dozen years ago. It was priced ridiculously low, 50 or so dollars for an 8lb jug. It's just a tick faster than H-110. Great stuff for the price, I wish I could find more. Did anyone else buy any? I remember I found out about it in an issue of Handloader.

Very close to Enforcer in lab data if the lot number is 47320 or 47321. The lot number will be on the edge of the label vertically aranged. Very good magnum powder too, its the same powder as WC 820.

I picked up a keg from powder valley, too. If you can point me to that Handloader article, I'd love to read it.

A number of years ago, I made a Group Buy for my local gun club. The powder (WC 820) came in 150 lb bottles. I bought three full bottles. We then repackaged it in gallon milk jugs. My particular lot, in the .44 Magnum, was just half a grain faster than canister H110 that I had on hand (by chronograph). I still have about 20 lbs left after shooting about thirty pounds up in my .44's. One of the greatest buys I was ever lucky enough to find.
It is a GREAT magnum pistol powder but also works extremely well in the .32/.357 and .32 Miller Short in Schuetzen rifles. You DO have to be aware that there are several different lots of these powders and they can vary by as much as a couple of grains in speed. My method was to load a canister powder up side by side (on the safe side of the equation) and compare them the same day with the same caliber, bullet, and primer. While that is not a pressure gun, it should keep you safe.

Good advice Dale, I beleive there are five lots of WC 820. 47320 and 47321 are very similar to each other in burn rate. There is one lot that is fast in comparison, so be careful. They are also very similar to Accurate Arms Enforcer in lab testing. I have burned lots of this powder in forty years of shooting sixguns and find nothing better no matter the price.
