Anybody use these? www.dardascastbullets.comA member posted their site in another thread. There bullets are extremely affordable, just wondering how the quality is.

Looks like all they've got are lightweight bevel base plinkers.

Plinkers are good! Unless quality suffers to hit a price point. If they're just good enough for noise making, I don't need them. However, if they're cheap and good quality, maybe i can afford a little extra trigger time with light loads.
My brain says "you get what you pay for" but my wallet is intrigued!

In .44, the SWC has a lot of bevel and a minimal forward band. The RNFP plinking bullets do look better though. If I'd just not sent out an order, I'd try'em and will remember for next time. steve

I stay away from bevel base bullets. Just asking for leading when you choose them over a flat base.

I stay away from bevel base bullets. Just asking for leading when you choose them over a flat base. That has been my opinion, based on others and my own limited experience. But I've heard that at the right velocity, they work "fine". Looks like they worked ok for you, Scott. Did you use them much?

Bevel base will work in some, not others. It is more a "fit" issue. Flat base bullets are a little more forgiving.

I shot at least 1K of their .452 260SWC's without issue with good accuracy out of Freedom Arms M83's. For what they are they are "good".
