Another OM Super that I picked up recently shortened more to my liking. My 26lb mainspring should be in today and I have already replaced the trigger spring with one from a pen. Those are about the only mods an OM needs in my opinion to have a great trigger along with a fast hammer speed.

Very nice, Tek! I too like the shorter barrel.

Nice! I picked up a shortened OM Super last year with a factory brassie g/f. I swapped out the g/f for a SS Bisley one, and added stainless ERH. Sweet packing guns! My only wish was that someone had modified it to accept different front sight blades. I guess it'll be a project I undertake soon enough.

Once I verified that it shot to POA as far as windage is concerned, I went ahead and filed the screw down and blued the sight after some polishing with 2000 grit sandpaper. Of course it shoots a bit low, but I already knew that I would have to shorten the sight, which I will do when I actually get around to shooting it some. I am just pleased that the windage is right with the rear perfectly centered after the recent issue with the 625. Sorry for the poor pictures I purposefully drilled the countersink a bit shallow where the screw head would be high. Then I filed the screw head down to match the profile of the sight on the sides and even left the little rib along the sight. If I was thinking a bit better at the time, I would have left the countersink a bit shallower where I would have been able to file away the slot in the screw head. As it is now, you can still see the slot.
